Inbound Fall Training
Our Rotary Youth Exchange community recently gathered for our annual Fall Training, kicking off a transformative year of connection, leadership development, and cultural growth. This essential day brought together our incoming international inbound students, past outbound exchange students, host families, club coordinators and committee volunteers to lay a strong foundation for the incredible journey ahead.
The day started off with a tour of the Iowa State Capitol.
Training included tips for stepping into the ambassador role, goal planning for their year, an activity to master the American greeting to meet new people and navigating culture shock.

Rotary Youth Exchange transforms young leaders into global citizens. Through local school immersion, community service, and host family integration, these students develop a broader worldview that shapes them into future leaders.
